Question In your opinion, would this be a good workathome opportunity?
The job of a web promotion specialist involves typing short, simple articles on special websites. The articles themselves are easy to assemble, comprised of material available on the web, and do not require any special writing skills. However, knowing how to put the articles together and where to place them on the web is information most people don't have, and thus, why they can't readily jump into being a web promotion specialist.
As you might expect, a school has seen the opportunity here and is offering a short online course that teaches the skills necessary to become a successful web promotion specialist.
The school has ingeniously put all the information anyone needs to learn how to be a web promotion specialist into a few hours of downloadable video. The course actually guides you through the process of registering to work with a number of Fortune 500 companies, so that by the time you are through with the course, you are not only trained but actually employed.
You have the option of working for as many companies as you like at the same time, which is a great way to maximize your income.
Again, you are not being sold an imaginary bill of goods here, you are being taught marketable skills and guided through the process of registering to work.
Let me kow what you think?
Thanks in advance.
Answer Hi Sallie,
Learning a new skill is good and article writing and marketing is a good web promotional tactic. However articles are not the only strategy so with a title like "Web Promotion Specialist" I would think other types of Internet marketing would be expected.
Also, the "registering with Fortune 500 companies..." would make me leery. You can't just sign-up to work a "job" with a company. Like any job, you need to have the skills and experience, and of course, the company needs to actually be hiring someone.
With that said, I do see many jobs posted on the net for online PR, marketing and copywriting. But again, these may require more than just a knowledge of article marketing.
