Question I am a 40 year old disabled woman intested In helping others work from home with telecommuting or other flex work options.I would like to help with setting up a home office, or help with maternity leave, or elder care. I am not sure what this is called but can you tell me how to get started?
How do I gather info from a client , or collect payment safely since I am working from home myself? I really am interested in starting this type of busines and would appreciate any help.

Answer Basically you would be a temporary employment agency. If you are referring to you finding other people to help out with jobs that need filled by other companies.
As for getting started, go to your nearest Small Business Administration office (SBA) and they have programs that can help guide you. Or visit their info here:
