Definition of information

Data vs information

value & quality of information

Answer
Hello Kavindra,

Below is my definition of information, please let me know if this is what you were referring to.

Definition of information

Refers to both the hardware and software that are used to store, retrieve, and manipulate information. You have servers with an operating system. Installed on these servers are things like database and web serving software. Servers are connected to each other and to users via a network infrastructure. Users accessing these servers have their own hardware, operating system and software tools.

Data that has been given meaning by way of relational connection.
