Answer Hi Hilary,
Do you mean a telecommuting job? Work-at-home jobs are like any other jobs. You need to have the skills and experience to get hired. There is an application and interview process. The types of jobs are varied.
You can get a job like this by:
1) Asking your boss if you can work at home;
2) Finding a job needing your skills/experience in your area and proposing a work-at-home situation
3) Searching for work-at-home jobs online.
Please remember you can't buy a job. While you can pay to have someone do your resume or to access a job database, you never want to pay to get hired. So if a company says you can work (job) for them for a fee, don't do it. Its always a scam.
