Subject: how to obtain a job from home?

Question
Hi! I have a 4 month old baby and I would like to find a job I can do from home. I graduated in 2002 with a Law degree in Colombia (where I am from)and with a master degree in American Law from Brigham Young University in march of this year. I have been trying to find a job but all of them require me to be in an office. I can also translate documents English/Spanish or do research for lawyers. If you know someone who could help me please write me back and I will send you my resume. Thanks.

Answer
There are a couple of places you can register for free and they only charge a small fee if you get a gig (or nothing at all).

www.getafreelancer.com
www.guru.com
www.craigslist.org - look under the different cities - not all jobs are under every city.

I would also make up business cards and a small poster that you can print several copies of. Post it on any bulletin board you can find locally. Give out your business cards to everyone you meet.

Contact all of the local attorneys and propose telecommuting to them.

Sorry...finding a job at home is not easy. It takes lots of patience and hunting.

Hope this helps.

Fran
