Question QUESTION: Hi, the question is how do i notice the difference between a cell number and a phone number, i know both are 10 digits, 3 for the code area and 7 for the number.For example in Spain you dial 6 before the cell number, in japan cell numbers start with 090,080 and 070, Venezuela, cell numbers start with 412,416, 414,415,etc, it depends on the phone company. how do i notice the difference in USA, cell phone numbers and phone numbers. thanks.

I the United States, (The north american numbering plan -NAPP) there is none. Unless you have access to central office exchange codes, cell phone numbers appear just like land lines.

A call to a cell phone, voip, or land line is based on time distance and the plan you have. if you're calling from a land line and the 3 types of numbers are all local, there is no extra charge in most areas and companies. ALL telephone companies offering common carrier service use rate centers (a geo spot to determine rates and distance)
If you're using a cell phone to MAKE the calls, I can't help you as stated in my profile.
