Question I am looking for a telephone company, other than sbc which was south western bell. I live in houston texas. I need one that is good on long distance charges. I appreciate your help. Thank you!
Answer Brandon, try checking: belltolls.com and cellular/VOIP sites. It all depends on your equipment and calling needs. If you need both local and long distance however, you're pretty much going to pay the same as with SBC (Southwestern bell). AT&T (Southwestern's former parent) and others used to provide local and long distance service but, with prices going up they all pretty much stopped marketing to the consumer market. Spencer
