Subject: phone as an intercom

Question
Is there a way I can use the several phones in my house as an intercom system?  My provider is BellSouth.

Answer
Yes, you can buy a small phoe system (PBX) and connect the lines into it and extensions from that but that will be an expense and will need wiring too. You can buy handsets that need just one phone plugged into a line and other ones work form that and just need a charger base and a power socket and you can transfer to say phone 1 to 2 etc and ring 1 and 2 internally like an intercom system. Check with your local electrical shop or buy some online. Regards
