Question
I have a landline telephone that i can make calls on and has a dial tone, but when i supposed to be getting a call its been doing a short ring where if i pick it up i may or may not get the call unless i pick it up right away. I tried to call home from somewhere else but got a busy signal or it goes straight to my voicemail. Could it be the phone itself or the phoneline or the phone jack? What should I do?

Answer
Romel,
You didn't say who your service provider is, but Most Telecommunications companies offer repair service by dialing 6-1-1.
I'd start with them, as this sounds like an error in the centrel office.

Did the problem just start, or has something changed with your equipment, features, or service? What else do you have hooked to your phone line?
