About Marcia Studley Expertise I`m a true member of the tv generation! I grew up doing my homework while watching the classics of the 60`s and 70`s and today, they are still my favorites. I have a big library of tv and film reference books at my disposal, as well as a large video library. My memory is pretty darn good too, and when that fails, I can hit the books and/or videos, not to mention a few friends who are as devout tv gen members as I am. Please note that my expertise is with American tv only.
Question I am trying to find the name of a movie that I am pretty sure played in the 70's and may have been a made for TV movie. It came out around Thanksgiving, I believe, but might have been Christmas too. The main character was a teenage girl that lived w/ her mother and very grumpy and busy father. I don't remember much about it other than she did a lot of cutting out of articles or such from newspapers. She was trying to get her father to celebrate the holidays but he was very cynical and grouchy. I don't remember much else about the movie though. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated!

I've been thinking about this, but it just doesn't sound familiar with the limited information you provided. If you can try and think of anything else to help - character name, actor, city it took place in, more of the theme, etc - I'll be happy to try and search for it. Right now, it's just not enough to go on.
