About Marcia Studley
Expertise
I`m a true member of the tv generation! I grew up doing my homework while watching the classics of the 60`s and 70`s and today, they are still my favorites. I have a big library of tv and film reference books at my disposal, as well as a large video library. My memory is pretty darn good too, and when that fails, I can hit the books and/or videos, not to mention a few friends who are as devout tv gen members as I am. Please note that my expertise is with American tv only.

Television Trivia - After School Special/Movie

Question
This is part two (of followup to http://en.allexperts.com/q/Television-Trivia-2104/Late-1960s-Early-1970s.htm).  The young man was living in projects...his mother was struggling to make ends meet.  He found the kitten in the oven and his first attempt to feed it was by trying to shoplift from the small store owner.  He got caught (I think)...and the owner of the store gave him a job to earn the money for the cat food (and more) rather than put him into the system.  Not going to spoil the tear-jerker ending but it was a great little movie.  - Dan

Answer
Just now saw this.  You remember so much of the plot, but I don't believe I saw this movie ever.  I tried an additional search using how the kitten was found, but as an animal lover, I couldn't bear to read some of the results that came up.  I would recommend googling or using the 'power search' function at imdb.com to see if you can come up with anything.

Once again, good luck!
