You no doubt know the actor from "Ironside" as Detective Ed Brown. The actor is Don Galloway. He's done a ton of TV, even a stint on General Hospital.

QUESTION: was there an episode where he was hospitalized for fluid at the base of his brain?
Answer Hmmm ... I'm not sure. The show was on for many years. I don't think so, though, at least not on Ironside. To be sure, you can search through the episode listing at either imdb.com or tv.com. He had a back injury once, as I recall. That may or may not have included something with fluid at the base of his brain, but I don't recall it being that specific.
