About Marcia Studley
Expertise
I`m a true member of the tv generation! I grew up doing my homework while watching the classics of the 60`s and 70`s and today, they are still my favorites. I have a big library of tv and film reference books at my disposal, as well as a large video library. My memory is pretty darn good too, and when that fails, I can hit the books and/or videos, not to mention a few friends who are as devout tv gen members as I am. Please note that my expertise is with American tv only.

Subject: 60's Cartoon of Dog Show

Question
I am trying to locate a copy of a cartoon (WB?) featuring a dog show.  It was done documentary style and talked about different breeds of dogs, such as St. Bernard, a dog that plays the piano, a Chihuahua who says "I don't know about you senor, but I'm freezing!" and a mutt at the dog show pretending to be 50% pointer, 50% setter (Irish Setter)and 100% Labrador Retriever ("So find me a Labrador and I'll retrieve it!")  Do you remember this cartoon and do you know where I can buy a copy?

Answer
HI Dan,

All I've been able to find out is that the labrador part might be Charlie the Dog in a Porky Pig short.  They might all be the creator of Chuck Jones.

Wish I could help, but I don't recall this one, and that's all I was able to find out.

Good luck!
