Question A military brat, I spent my early childhood in Japan. I recall a live-action show that starred a 'robot' - clearly someone in a costume. The robot was red and looked like an upside-down half of a capsule, his arms/legs looked like silver covered slinkies, and he had a pink heart on his chest that sometimes glowed. This would have been around 1975-77. If you can track down the name of that robot, I would be very grateful! I and all my friends collected toys from this show, so it was fairly popular in its day. Damned if I kept any of the darn things...

Pretty sure the character you are talking about is "Ultraman." It was a Japanese TV show that moved to America sometime around 1976... see if this helps your memory any...
