AboutMike Hensel Expertise I will try and answer all questions dealing with television...show names, plots, actors, roles, networks, etc...US shows primarily; not real knowledgeable on TV from other countries...I lean heavily into past, more so than current, television...and, my knowledge dealing with "reality" shows is limited, due to the fact that I really can't stand the genre (my apologies to all the "Reality" fans out there...)

Question I was a kid in the 50s who watched Saturday morning TV shows like Andy's Gang. I also watched animal shows some of which were done by Martin & Ossa Johnson. One show, perhaps by them, had a scene in which about 10 mountain goats were startled by the safari of camera people. The mountain goats jumped into a narrow chasm and reached the bottom by bouncing from wall to wall, flipping in mid-air. I've been trying to hunt that show down since the internet emerged. Any ideas?

I looked at my materials; and couldn't really find much ...
The documentaries from Martin & Osa (note spelling) Johnson were mostly done in the 20's and 30's, Martin died in the late 30's from an airplane crash; Osa died in 1953 of a heart attack...
There was mention of a TV show in the 50's called "Big Game Hunt", but I cannot find anything on it...
The only other animal show I can find on Saturday mornings in the 50's was an ABC show called "Animal Time", it was on a short time in the early 50's, and I can't find anything on that show, either...
That's all I got right now; I'll keep this in my "Open" file..
