I will try and answer all questions dealing with television...show names, plots, actors, roles, networks, etc...US shows primarily; not real knowledgeable on TV from other countries...I lean heavily into past, more so than current, television...and, my knowledge dealing with "reality" shows is limited, due to the fact that I really can't stand the genre (my apologies to all the "Reality" fans out there...)

Years of watching and cataloging television shows

Question
WHAT WAS THE NAME OF THE HOST OF THE 60'S TV SHOW ABOUT LOST
AND OR MISSING TREASURES-- IT PLAYED AROUND THE TIME OF THE
"TALES OF WELLS FARGO" AND "20 MULE TEAM THEATRE"
ONE EPISODE TOLD OF A FELLOW WHO STOLE AN EMERALD AND HID IT
IN AN UNFIRED PIECE OF POTTERY IN HIS BROTHERS FACTORY-- WAS
GOING TO RETURN TO GET IT BUT WAS KILLED--  POTTERY WAS SHIPPED TO THE USA

Answer
Well, David, I'm afraid I cannot find this...

The premise does not sound familiar to me...

You say it was on around the time of "Tales of Wells Fargo", which ran from 1957 to 1962... and "20 Mule Team Theatre", which I know by another name, "Death Valley Days"...that show ran from the early 50's to the mid 70's...

In looking at the network shows around the time of the Wells Fargo show, I see nothing with the description you give me...

Could this show perhaps be a daytime series ??? Or a local show from your area ???

I'll keep this in my "Open" file, and when I do find it, I'll do a follow-up...

Sorry I couldn't answer your query !!!

Thanks for a Great Question !!!
Take Care,
Mike
