AboutMike Hensel Expertise I will try and answer all questions dealing with television...show names, plots, actors, roles, networks, etc...US shows primarily; not real knowledgeable on TV from other countries...I lean heavily into past, more so than current, television...and, my knowledge dealing with "reality" shows is limited, due to the fact that I really can't stand the genre (my apologies to all the "Reality" fans out there...)

None of the AllExperts categories seem just right for this question, but perhaps you can help.
I'm curious about which networks own which cable stations (like Tru TV, Bravo, A&E, etc.)
Do you know of a web site that gives this info?

Answer Steve, I do know of a website that may hold the answer to your questions...
For me, if the answer to a question is not within physical reach of all of my research materials; I try will go to Wikipedia (www.wikipedia.com)...
So, if you go to Wikipedia and search on the major networks (ABC, CBS, FOX, and NBC) which will bring up their entries; then scroll to the very bottom; there's a couple of blue sections which have a "show" button on the right; you want to click on the "show" buttons of the following for each network :
ABC - the section called "The Walt Disney Company"
CBS - "CBS Corporation"
FOX - "News Corporation"
NBC - "NBC Universal, Inc"
This will open up that box and show information on the entities owned by those corporations, both network and cable...
