Question
I am trying to find the name of a western tv series from the 1960s. All I can remember of the opening title shots is a man on horse with a tree filled valley and possibly snow. May be riding his way down the valley?

Answer
I'm 99% sure this is the answer...but, since I can't find the opening theme right now...

The show you are thinking of was, "A Man Called Shenandoah", a half-hour western on the ABC Television network Mondays from September 13, 1965 to September 5, 1966...

It starred Robert Horton as Shenandoah, a man found by two buffalo hunters who was shot in a gunfight and left for dead...

After recovering, he couldn't remember anything about himself...

the series revolved around his efforts to find out his identity...

the series ran for one season (a total of 34 episodes); and Shenandoah did not find out who he was...he might still be out there, somewhere...

I hope this answers your query!!!

Thanks for a Great Question!!!
Take Care,
Mike
