I will try and answer all questions dealing with television...show names, plots, actors, roles, networks, etc...US shows primarily; not real knowledgeable on TV from other countries...I lean heavily into past, more so than current, television...and, my knowledge dealing with "reality" shows is limited, due to the fact that I really can't stand the genre (my apologies to all the "Reality" fans out there...)

Question
I'm not sure of the year, but I think it is from the late 1960s or early 1970s tv show or movie. The show is about a few people that survived a plane crash in the alps due to the help of an old man that lived there. He sewed up their wounds with a gold thread. This made them perfect in everything they did.
I was like the avengers. It may have been British.

Answer
Ah, Kevin, you are talking about one of my favorite shows...

You are remembering "The Champions", a summer replacement series for "Rowan & Martin's Laugh-In", Monday nights at 8:00 PM on the NBC television network from June to September, 1968...

It starred Stuart Damon, Alexandra Bastedo, and William Gaunt as Craig Sterling, Sharon Macready, and Richard Barrett, respectively; agents of Nemesis, an Interpol-like agency...

The intrepid agents crashed landed in the mountains of Tibet during an escape from a mission, and found by members of an unknown race living there...

They were nursed backed to health, and given special "powers" to help them in their crime-fighting efforts. Powers include extraordinary mental abilities and superhuman strength, among others...

They keep their powers (and how they got them) a secret from everyone, including their boss, Tremayne, the head of Nemesis, played by Anthony Nicholls...

You are correct in that this was a British program...

Being a summer replacement, only 10 of the produced 30 episodes were shown on American television...

Hope this answers your query !!!

Thanks for a Great Question !!!
Take Care,
Mike
