QuestionO.K. Nobody I've talked to remembers this show, so I'm wondering if it ever exisited!
I think the title was "Hank" and was about a fellow that ran a catering truck on a college campus, little sister to parent "Tina?" and would sneak into classes to get his education. I think it ran in tha time slot between Diseny and Bonansa on Sunday nights. Was there such a show?
AnswerThe show ran in 1965. Similar to Dobie Gillis. Short Lived. Theme song went somthing like this:
He's up with the sun, And he's got the college singing, As he goes off on another swinging day.
There're jobs to be done, Or errands to run, He's A - Number One - OK!
He'll drive, clean your clothes, Be a butler or a porter, If it means another quarter in the bank.
He'll get his degree, His Phi Beta key, And get 'em both for free, That's Hank.
It was an NBC series.
It ran for just under a year.
starred Dick Kallman and Dabbs Greer. If you need more info let me know. I may be able to find a full cast list. I have no idea if I can find episodes, but I can give it a try if you like.
