Question I am trying to remember the name of a Thanksgiving TV special that I watched as a kid in the early 1970s. The lead character was a young girl with long braids and when it cut to commercials, the image would morph to a paper collage of whatever was on the screen at that time. The story was told from the perspective of the young girl after she became an adult. The only scene I vividly recall was the girl putting mashed potatoes in a boy's pocket. I believe there were at least two of these broadcast at Thanksgiving time, probably in the 1973-1976 time frame. Any idea? Thanks.
