Television Trivia/80's tv show

Question
I can barely remember, but there was an 80’s TV Show about (I believe) 2 guys, possibly brothers, that were able to fly (I think they hold hands to do so, or at least flew side by side) and traveled in space and/or time. Perhaps they were able to fly thanks to some sort of bracelet. They had no wings, wore no cape and didn’t look any like superheroes or mutants. I might be wrong but I believe the name of the show started with “V”. Perhaps one of the main characters wore black curly hair and maybe a black leather jacket. I believe there was an episode in which, after flying for a while, they landed in a beach (or sandy area).

I hope you can help me!

Answer
Well, Alejandro, I'll take a stab at this...

Perhaps you are thinking of the show, "Voyagers", which aired in the US on the NBC Television Network from October 3rd, 1982 to July 31st, 1983...

The show starred a guy named Jon-Erik Hexum as Phineas Bogg, a time-traveler from the future, one of a group called "Voyagers", who journey through time to make sure that the events of the past turn out like they should...

Bogg, who was a bit of a klutz, crashed into the home of young Jeffrey Jones (about 12 years old, I think), played by Meeno Peluce, who's dog Ralph, promptly ate Bogg's guidebook...

Luckily, Jeffrey is a super smart kid, and a whiz in History; he volunteers to go with Bogg and help him out...

The device that Bogg uses to travel in time is called an "Omni"...

I hope this answers your Query !!!

Thanks for a Great Question !!!
Take Care,
Mike

I will try and answer all questions dealing with television...show names, plots, actors, roles, networks, etc...US shows primarily; not real knowledgeable on TV from other countries...I lean heavily into past, more so than current, television...and, my knowledge dealing with "reality" shows is limited, due to the fact that I really can't stand the genre (my apologies to all the "Reality" fans out there...)
