Television Trivia/night time show

Question
This was a show/soap opera at night, adult theme drama. Lots of drama. The lead characters were husbands and wives with one wife wanting a baby, and finally having one.
One of the lead characters was a man with red hair, last (real)name was Bussey(?) He has been in other shows since. His wife had light hair, and I think he cheated on her. They had a couple of children. And they were going through a divorce.
The one wife who finally had the baby had dark hair, and a pointy nose. Her husband had dark hair too.
I remember the show taking place in the house of the dark haired couple a lot.
Do you remember the name of this show, and the four main characters? The name of the show I think was just one word.

Answer
I have it, Suzanne...

"thirtysomething", was a nighttime drama shown on the ABC Television Network from September, 1987 to September, 1988; then returned in December of '88, and ran until September of 1991, all on Tuesday nights at 10:00 EST...

The show starred Ken Olin and Mel Harris as husband and wife Michael and Hope Murdoch Steadman, who had just become parents of a baby girl, Janey...

Michael worked with Elliot Weston, played by Timothy Busfield (this is your red-haired guy) as owners of an advertising agency...

Elliot was married to Nancy, played by Patricia Wettig, and had 2 kids, Ethan and Brittany; they did go through a divorce...

There were 3 others in the mix; all single folks... there was Melissa Steadman, played by Melanie Mayron; she is Michael's cousin, and a photographer... Ellen Warren, Hope's friend from when she was a teen; played by Polly Draper... and Gary Shepherd, played by Peter Horton, who was a professor at a nearby college, and Michael's friend...

All of this took place in Philadelphia...

I hope this answers your query !!!

Thanks for a Great Question !!!
Take Care,
Mike

I will try and answer all questions dealing with television...show names, plots, actors, roles, networks, etc...US shows primarily; not real knowledgeable on TV from other countries...I lean heavily into past, more so than current, television...and, my knowledge dealing with "reality" shows is limited, due to the fact that I really can't stand the genre (my apologies to all the "Reality" fans out there...)
