I will try and answer all questions dealing with television...show names, plots, actors, roles, networks, etc...US shows primarily; not real knowledgeable on TV from other countries...I lean heavily into past, more so than current, television...and, my knowledge dealing with "reality" shows is limited, due to the fact that I really can't stand the genre (my apologies to all the "Reality" fans out there...)

Years of watching and cataloging television shows

Television Trivia - sitcom circa 2004

Expert: Mike Hensel - 10/20/2009

Question
Dumb question, short lived sitcom, thinking NBC, cancelled quickly.  The grandfather or uncle figure sitcom vet, light brown hair in his late 50's early 60's at the time.  The episode I remember was when he was wearing lounge pants and he was going out and someone asked him if he wearing those while going out, his reply, "these are great, nobody know if you are wearing pant or pajamas.  And several time through the episode he repeated, "pants - or pajamas".  My wife and I watched it and it is really bugging the both of us.  Thanks.

Answer
Jack, upon preliminary investigation, I can find nothing on this...

I've looked at the fall schedules for 2003, 04, 05, and nothing jumps out at me... NBC had few comedies then, and the ones they did have are well documented...

it must have been a spring series, fading very quickly, as you say...

I'll do more digging and when I come up with it, I'll follow up here...

Sorry I couldn't answer your query (at least, right now) !!!

Thanks for a Great Question !!!
Take Care,
Mike
