About Marcia Studley Expertise I`m a true member of the tv generation! I grew up doing my homework while watching the classics of the 60`s and 70`s and today, they are still my favorites. Question This one will be tough. I need the name of an afternoon TV show from the mid 60s.
It basically centered on the adventures of some kids growing up in a French Canadian Fort town. I don't know what time frame the movie was set but one of the characters was a Victor French type down to earth man who could talk to bears. The show only lasted maybe a year or so. That's really all I can remember about the show so I know it is a long shot that so
eone will remember it.

I did try and see if I could find anything on this, but most afternoon shows were local productions or syndicated local shows, and they are extremely difficult to find anything on. If you know the station on which it aired, you might try contacting the programming department or historical department. Many times they can help with this type of information.
