About Marcia Studley Expertise I`m a true member of the tv generation! I grew up doing my homework while watching the classics of the 60`s and 70`s and today, they are still my favorites. I have a big library of tv and film reference books at my disposal, as well as a large video library. My memory is pretty darn good too, and when that fails, I can hit the books and/or videos, not to mention a few friends who are as devout tv gen members as I am. Please note that my expertise is with American tv only.
Question There used to be a cartoon of a small white dog with black patches. He was really laid back and spoke in a slow, silly, growly type voice. Often/usually played a sheriff and always got his man/dog.
This has been bugging me for ages so would be very pleased to find out.
cheers
Answer HI Vee,
There are a couple of possibilities that pop to mind, but I'm not sure if they are what you are thinking about. One is Deputy Dawg and the other is Quick Draw McDraw. Both have similarities to your description but neither matches a hundred percent. A third and more likely possibility is Droopy Dog. He was more laid back than these other two were.
Do any of these sound like the dog you're thinking about?
