Television Trivia - made for TV movie

Expert: Shae - 6/11/2009

Question
During the 70's or 80's I watched a made for TV movie about a young boy who comes on a orphan train to live with a amish type family.  The family had just recently lost a son about the same age in a farming/horse accident.  The father helped his son train horses for horse pulling contests.  Eventually the new boy discovers this and wants to learn as well.  I have no idea who the actors were.  They music at the beginning and ending of the movie was a group of young women(maybe sisters) who sang acapella.  Thanks for your help. Ann

Answer
Ann-
I have searched everywhere and can't seem to find anything that fits the story you have given me. Can you remember any other details that might help me in the research, like who any of the actors where or what network it was on? Any little thing might lead us to the answer.
