About Marcia Studley
Expertise
I`m a true member of the tv generation! I grew up doing my homework while watching the classics of the 60`s and 70`s and today, they are still my favorites. I have a big library of tv and film reference books at my disposal, as well as a large video library. My memory is pretty darn good too, and when that fails, I can hit the books and/or videos, not to mention a few friends who are as devout tv gen members as I am. Please note that my expertise is with American tv only.

Television Trivia - line drawing

Expert: Marcia Studley - 7/17/2009

Question
A children's televsion show in the late 70s - early 80s had a segment with a white line drawn across the screen that turned into a person.  This person didn't talk - he just made sounds, and as the line moved across the screen, he would walk, and then reach obstacles, like a box/block, etc.  My friend and I were talking about this at lunch yesterday and we cannot think of what TV show this was!!  Can you help us???

Answer
Hi Kelly,

I wish I could, but I wasn't watching children's programming in that era and I just haven't been able to find anything in my searches.  I tried various types of searches, but nothing at all has come up.  I sure wish I could have found it for you.

Good luck.
