About Marcia Studley Expertise I`m a true member of the tv generation! I grew up doing my homework while watching the classics of the 60`s and 70`s and today, they are still my favorites. I have a big library of tv and film reference books at my disposal, as well as a large video library. Question "Knights of old TBS/TNT movie?? from the 80's? was watching TV around 1989 and the movie came on. Sorry, can't remember title or actors. Showing up by surprise, a handsome young man, a commoner, challenges knights of nobility in a competition while beautiful young princess and noble guests watch. He uses his very own tools/weaponry, rides on his steed through the circle of challenges, and outperforms all others. don't remember if he hid his identity or not, but he rides up to the observers and re-claims the princess's scarf (symbolically claiming her)"
