About Marcia Studley Expertise I`m a true member of the tv generation! I grew up doing my homework while watching the classics of the 60`s and 70`s and today, they are still my favorites. I have a big library of tv and film reference books at my disposal, as well as a large video library. My memory is pretty darn good too, and when that fails, I can hit the books and/or videos, not to mention a few friends who are as devout tv gen members as I am. Please note that my expertise is with American tv only.
Question hope you can help me detemine the name of this made for tv movie it was aired some time from the late 70's to early 80's.it was a coming of age
drama/comedy it was about a young man 18 - 20 just enlisted in the service
he meets a girl 15-16 over the weeekend before he has to report for duty.
they find out that they are both virgins and she wants to help him she even
carries him to a whorehouse where he was going to use a watch to pay for services but doesn't go thru with it she finaly decides shes going to be the one to help him and draws up a list of things that they are going to do and the order in which they are going to do it on the day she is going to do it with him
that evening they are so tired from the activities they fall a sleep and the next day her parnets come home to find them sleep in the bed.her father throws him out as he is telling him nothing happened a short time passes and the girl is in the local park on a carousel she gets a letter from his comanding officer that he's been killed in the line of duty .
i don't recall any of the actors .

Unfortunately, I was never a big watcher of coming of age movies, and this just doesn't ring a bell to me at all. I tried some searches, but came up empty.
There is a huge listing of coming of age films over at wiki, in case you want to check it out. Maybe seeing a name would mean something.
