AboutMike Hensel Expertise I will try and answer all questions dealing with television...show names, plots, actors, roles, networks, etc...US shows primarily; not real knowledgeable on TV from other countries...I lean heavily into past, more so than current, television...and, my knowledge dealing with "reality" shows is limited, due to the fact that I really can't stand the genre (my apologies to all the "Reality" fans out there...)
Experience Years of watching and cataloging television shows
Question I found a question asked by a 55 year old man in 2007 regarding a tv show featuring a miniature man inside of a briefcase. I've been trying to remember the show for the past 20 years, but no one seems to remember it. The man with the briefcase was a secret agent or private eye. The little guy was his "spy cam". He lived in a "doll house" that slid out of the wall. They'd go out on an assignment, the briefcase would be placed on a table or floor, the miniman would push out a round metal louvered vent and climb out of the briefcase, and set out to do his detective work. I remember the show being on ABC, Friday night. That's all I can remember. (There was also a Twilight Zone that had a couple who woke up in a strange house in a strange town where everything was fake. The punch line was that they were on a play village, similar to a Lionel or HO train board set up, and were pets of a little girl who's father went "all the way to Earth" to get them for her.)
Any more info?
Thanks.
Ted
Answer Ted, I don't recall a series such as the one you describe... might it have been a TV-Movie ???
There was a Gerry Anderson marionette show done in England called, "The Secret Service", which mirrors you description, however it never made it to the US...
Can you nail down the time frame as to when you saw it ??? This will help in my search...
The Twilight Zone episode you are recalling, by the way, was called "Stopover in a Quiet Town"; shown during the last season of the original show in 1964...
