About Marcia Studley Expertise I`m a true member of the tv generation! I grew up doing my homework while watching the classics of the 60`s and 70`s and today, they are still my favorites. I have a big library of tv and film reference books at my disposal, as well as a large video library. My memory is pretty darn good too, and when that fails, I can hit the books and/or videos, not to mention a few friends who are as devout tv gen members as I am. Please note that my expertise is with American tv only.
Question Just another baby-boomer trying desperately to patch the holes in
his memory. This one has been bugging me for ages... (doesn't
everyone say that?) I'm sure there was a show way back when, ran
no more than a season if that, about the president's daughter. I'm
sure her name was Jennie, and that may have been the show's title
as well. Heck, if I hve a photographic recall of Colonel Bleep, Dodo
the Kid from Outer Space and Space Angel, how far off base can I
be with this one? Please help. thanks!
Answer Hmmm ... the only show I know of about a president's daughter was called "Nancy" in 1970. It only lasted one season I think and starred an actress named Renee Jarrett. I believe her husband was played by Jack Fink, or something along those lines. It was actually a favorite show of mine back then, but I don't know if it's the one you're looking for!
Let me know if you think it's not it, and if not, if you can think of any other information that might be helpful in a search.
