There was a Police show with a taller kinda balding guy and a shorter petite dark headed woman who were partners. What is the name?? Its driving my wife and i nuts!!! We know it is not Policewoman. Around the same time frame as Emergency (Squad 51).

well i have tried to research your question, the problem being you are talking around 1972 and I wasnt born until 1979. Worse, the 70s introduced over 500 police shows. Without knowing an actor or even a network i am of little help, however i do want to direct you to a very imformative book -- it not only lists descriptions of each show but also offers you program grids for each year and each network. it is called "The Complete Directory To Primetime Network and Cable Tv Shows 1946-present" by Tim Brooks and Earle Marsh -- I wish you the best of luck - im so sorry i couldnt help more.
