About Chris Parker
Expertise
I can answer most questions about television, including what has happened in front of the cameras and behind them. The majority of my knowlede encompasses the last 30 years, however it doesn't cover many televised sporting events. Having worked in television for 7 years, I can also answer most of the questions regarding the business.

Experience
I currently work in the program scheduling department at major U.S. television network. Aside from my previous television experience in marketing, programming, production and ad sales, I landed where I am now because of my vast knowledge of telvision. Subject: Infomercial hostess

Question

If you have seen the Time Life 70's Music Explosion collection infomercial, you probably recognized Barry Williams a.k.a. "Greg Brady", once self-billed as "Johnny Bravo".
A young lady hosted that infomercial with him. I believe she appeared in both KY Warming Liquid commercials, an antacid pill commercial taking place in an airport, and another infomercial for a NordicTrac elliptical trainer.
Who is she? I've noticed that certain people seem to appear just about everywhere at the same time. Can you help me out? Thank you.

Answer
That would be a woman by the name of Erica Shaffer.  You can her credits on the Internet Movie Database here:

Commercial actors do bounce around quite a bit and if you start to look at them more closely, you'll star to recognize them more and more on your TV screen.  Many of them are what you'd call the "middle-class" actor, in where they're not always rich and (totally) famous, but make a decent living from it.
