AboutMarcia Studley Expertise I`m a true member of the tv generation! I grew up doing my homework while watching the classics of the 60`s and 70`s and today, they are still my favorites. I have a big library of tv and film reference books at my disposal, as well as a large video library. My memory is pretty darn good too, and when that fails, I can hit the books and/or videos, not to mention a few friends who are as devout tv gen members as I am. Please note that my expertise is with American tv only.

Question I've googled my fingers off but I can't locate anything about a show I watched as a kid that featured a man at a drawing board illustrating one or two scenes from a story as it was being read. I'm pretty sure it was from the late 70's, probably on public TV, and the artist drew in a realistic style. The stories were all excerpts from "young adult" books of the time but I don't remember any titles. I would to remember what this show was called!
Answer HI Scott,
Since you are looking for a show from the late seventies, it sounds like 'Gather Round'. You can find the episode list and more info at the link below.
