It was just the one robot. I've seen pictures from the Space Giants, and that definitely was a different show. I remember that the giant robot in the show I'm thinking of was kept in a Cape Kennedy type launch facility, and he would usually take off like a rocket. I saw this show in the early 70's, so I'm guessing it was from the 60's.
Thanks again!

Hi, I'm trying to find out the name of a live-action 60's era Japanese show that I watched as a kid. It had a kid that could call on a giant robot (this was NOT Ultraman, at least not the familiar one). The robot looked like a silver metallic Egyptian Pharaoh, with a Pharoahs' headdress. The kid could fly around with a jet-pack or something, and wore a white suit and helmet. The white suit had some kind of red emblem on it. The giant robots' fingers were missiles, and I believe the robot also flew by virtue of jets or rockets in his back. I've asked friends over the years if they ever saw this show, and they usually say "oh, wasn't that Ultraman?", but it wasn't! Thanks!

Hi, T...
I think you're looking for a show that had the American title of "Space Giants." Were there three robots or just the one? Let me know... if not, we'll find it... I can tell you, though, it definitely is NOT Ultraman... I was and still am a die-hard Ultraman fan...
Let me know!

Lemme know if you remember ANYthing else.... I WANT the answer to this, and we'll find it...
