AboutMarcia Studley Expertise I`m a true member of the tv generation! I grew up doing my homework while watching the classics of the 60`s and 70`s and today, they are still my favorites. I have a big library of tv and film reference books at my disposal, as well as a large video library. My memory is pretty darn good too, and when that fails, I can hit the books and/or videos, not to mention a few friends who are as devout tv gen members as I am. Question I am curious of the title and info about a thriller/suspense made for TV
movie I remember watching in the mid to late 1970's. I always thought the
title was A Bird in the Hand, or Bird in a Bush. The setting was a New
England prep school(?) in the autumn. I remember some kid was missing, and
they had to drain the outdoor swimming pool to see if he was there.
It aired during a period when several of this genre were airing on a
particular network regularly.

This actually sounds a little bit familiar, but at the same time, like you said, they made a bunch of these for a few years. It even reminds me of an episode of Charlie's Angels. Anywho, I searched every which way I could think of, but have come up empty.
