Television Trivia/70's tv show featuring disco puppets

I remember this show!  It was two female marionette puppets just as you described.  I thought their names were Honey and Sugar but I've searched for it online and can't find anything.  I remember watching it and being a little creeped out by it.  One of the girl puppets had sort of a reddish, brown page boy hair doo that covered her eyes so you could never see them.  I think the other one was blonde and they wore the disco outfits just like you said.  I think it was on around 1977 or so.  Hope someone can come up with an anwer for us.

I'm sure this must be it. It was on my brain for a long time too. They should have called it the Honey & Sis show instead.

I know what Holly is talking about and it is not any of those shown in the previous answer. It was a puppet/ marrionette show with glam diso girls from the America who sang cool diso music in a studio with the big chunky 1970s earphones on, and they did it solo or in a group. There was lots of drama, romance and intrigue, and all this cool disco music. And the girl puppets had massive glamourous disco hair, and crazy cool sparkly disco outfits. The puppets were in the similar design to the Thunderbirds ones. Holy Balls, what was it called? I have been trying to find out all day and I am going Bozo. Someone help. I will come back and tell when I find out, no fear.  ;D

It was called the Hanna-Barbera Happy Hour. Here is the IMDB

Glad I'm not the only who remembers this. I thought I hallucinated this one.

I`m a true member of the tv generation! I grew up doing my homework while watching the classics of the 60`s and 70`s and today, they are still my favorites. I have a big library of tv and film reference books at my disposal, as well as a large video library. My memory is pretty darn good too, and when that fails, I can hit the books and/or videos, not to mention a few friends who are as devout tv gen members as I am. Please note that my expertise is with American tv only.
