I am from the Atlanta area and I also remember Miss Boo.  I have been trying to find out more about her.  If you have any information please share it with me.  I am glad to see your post. I was beginning to think I imagined it all.

I remember miss boo in the early days of atlanta's channel 11... I in fact dated this young lady in her high school days in winder, georgia. her real name was joanne goode. I met her in 1947.

Freddie Miller was host of "Stars of Tomorrow."  He also hosted local wrestling at WLWA Channel 11(later WQXI and now WXIA).

Was it Roland Martin who had the fishing show?  Don't remember the name of the show, though.

THE FISHING HOST WAS JOHN MARTIN. I THINK IT WAS TITLED JOHN MARTIN OUTDOORS. I WOULD LIKE TO KNOW IF YOU COULD PURCHASE SOME COPIES.

THANKS

Actually, Miss Boo was my aunt Hazel, but I don't remember it (I was a baby). She still is alive and lives in the Atlanta area.  She used to dance with the Atlanta Ballet too.

Rosie Clark was her name but, I just knew her as "Miss Boo".

I really loved her. When I was in the 1st grade at Our Lady of Asumption, she came to our Halloween festival.  I stood in line to say "hello" and she gave me a hug, and then presented me with a plastic replica of her "pet" spider (which I soon lost but, never forgot it!)  I remember her show and some of the antics...such as finding a large cardboard box ( the kind that a new washer or dryer would be shipped in) and she would draw a drop-chain lightbulb...and pretend to pull the chain that she drew...and Lo! It would light up!  (Magic only a witch could do!) Or draw a door on the inside of the box, and then draw a door-knob, and pretend to turn the knob, and "wow", the drawn door would open, so she could exit the box, gracefully!  Loved it!  Miss you Miss Boo!
