About Test Pattern Guy
Expertise
I`m a pop culture freak who loves TV, old and new... ask me about classic TV, new TV, commercials, jingles, cartoons, Saturday morning shows, you name it. If I don`t know it, I can find it out... Believe it or not, I even know some of the infomercials by heart.. "Set it and forget it!"

Experience
Lots of time reading the TV Guide, and way too many nights of insomnia...

Subject: private investigator cartoon late 50's or early 60's

Question
I used to watch this private investigator dog who wore a trench coat and hat much like Humphrey Bogart.  The cartoon was I believe in B&W, non-humerous and was in a serial form where the ending of each episode was an extreme danger or mystery to be solved.  The dog would often get in his car and cross a New York City looking bridge.  I used to watch this on "Kookie & the Captain" on KMOX in St. Louis growing up.

Do you have any idea on what cartoon I might have seen?

Answer
Hi, Parisianne...

You're talking about "Q.T. Hush." He had a sidekick named Shamus... don't know if you can readily find episodeso n video now or not... it seems that it went through a couple of title changes as it went into syndication.... you might try Ebay or Amazon, though...

Hope this helps,

TPG
