Question
We'll be touring Tennessee the first week in August.  Any info
you can give on great eateries or interesting places to stay (not
just Holiday Inn, etc.) would be greatly appreciated.  Also, is it
really hot then & humid?

Answer
Sandy:

TN is really three states in one, about 120 miles high by 400 miles wide and in two time zones.  I live in the mountains and foothills of E TN.  Middle TN around Nashville is rolling hills and highlands.  W TN around Memphis is flatlands leading to the MS River--and based on our last summertime visit there, likely to be quite hot and humid in August.   So, please tell me what parts you plan to travel in, what kinds of things you're interested in seeing/doing, and your e-mail address so that we can exchange info.  Mine is travels@jyares.com
