Question I'm looking for the jersey number of Thomas Henderson who played linebacker for the '80' Oilers. Most websites I have come across have Henderson wearing the number that is supposed to be Art Stringer- #56 so, you can see why I need to find out what's up with this. Any help you can provide I would appreciate it.
Answer David, after searching for a good while, I could not find anything to prove what you've said wrong. It's entirely possible that there were two 56s on the 1980 Oilers, as Henderson only had 11 tackles that season with the Oilers, he clearly wasn't a starter, thus perhaps they might not mind giving out a number twice. I'm sorry I couldn't give you any concrete evidence. Good luck,
