Thermodynamics/Gold dust

Question
I'd like your advice and help turning 22kt gold dust into a sprool or blob... I have looked at a few home methods and was curious if I should do it myself or have it done. I have slightly less than a Troy oz.
Thank you,
Eve

Answer
Hi Eve,

Gold melts at 1064C (1947F) this is a very high temperature to achieve at home.
Special equipment is needed, usually requiring oxygen gas and another combustible gas plus a container that can stand the heat and not amalgamate withe the gold!.
So I would seek help.

I Hope this helps.
Best wishes,

Kevin
