Question
Why system does more work when it is in contact with higher temperature reservoir(or at higher temperature) then when it is in contact with lower temperature reservoir (or at lower temperature) in an isothermal process??

Answer
Hi Saumil,

It does not do more work; it is CAPABLE of more work. There is a big difference.
The analogy often used is that of potential energy. The higher the object is suspended the more work it can do. Height = High Temperature.

I hope this helps.
Best wishes.
