About Robert Arnone, DC
Expertise
I can answer any questions regarding Thyroid Trouble either Hypo or Hyper. I can also explain to you how this may have happened to you and more importantly how you can get well.

Experience
I have helped many women and some men with Thyroid Conditions. Most of them were able to get completely off of the harmful medications that weren't correcting the cause of their problem anyway. If all of these people were able to get well, then why not you too? I may be able to find you a qualified Upper Cervical Specific Doctor in your area to help locate and correct the cause.

Question
QUESTION: Hiya, can having a thyroid problem affect your hearing? Can you eat foods that contain goitrogens as I've heard that it slows it down and would the seasonal change in the weather affect your thyroid? I thank you for your time and help

Paul

ANSWER: Paul,
The human body is so complex and everyone is wired together so differently that there are many things that can happen with or without explanation.  I have seen a lot of things occur that are not in any medical text book.  With that said, having a thyroid problem should not affect you hearing, there are not any particular foods that cause a Goiter, and seasonal weather changes do affect all of the cells in the body including the thyroid, but not to the extent of causing a goiter.
Have you ever considered the possibility that the problem is actually something higher up,  Something that controls the Thyroid and your hearing as well?
Your nervous system and especially your brainstem controls and coordinates all cellular function in the body including your thyroid and your hearing.
There is a Doctor that specializes in locating and correcting this higher nervous system interference which could possibly be the cause of all of your health problems.
Have you ever had an injury or accident that involved your head or neck?
When you look in the mirror does your head look like it is on straight or is it cocked to one side?
Is one of your shoulders higher than the other?
Lie straight on the floor with sneakers on and have someone tell you if one of your legs (at the heels) is longer than the other.
These are some basic tests that will tell us if you might have an upper cervical subluxation that requires immediate attention.

QUESTION: Hi, thanks for replying.  My friend has hit her head twice in the past few years - once when she slipped on the ice and when she had a car accident in Feb of this year when a car hit her.

ANSWER: Paul,
There is a good chance that she suffered from an Upper Neck Injury and this can be causing her health problems.  She needs to get evaluated by a specialist.
Where is she located?

QUESTION: She had a CT Scan and it came back showing no signs of any problems.

Answer
Paul,
She would have to be evaluated by myself or another specialist doctor.  This is not something that will picked up by any neurologist or medical doctor because they are simply not trained for this.  Can you send me the pictures to look at?
The fact that she had some head injuries indicates the high probability that she suffered an upper neck injury which may be causing her health problems.
