Question
Can Men have Thyroid problems?

Answer
Mike,
Sure men can have thyroid problems.  The simplest way to look at it is this:  any part that is in your body can malfunction and therefore you can have a problem in that area.  Your Brain controls and coordinates all of the function in your body of your cells, glands, muscles, organs.  If there is a disruption between the communication from your brain to your Thyroid then your thyroid will begin to malfunction, this is not gender specific.  It is true that women have more Thyroid problems than men do but they do happen and over the years we have seen a number of men with Thyroid problems, what is most important is that we were able to locate the cause of that malfunction and help them to correct that cause without harmful medications or surgery.
