About Robert Arnone, DC
Expertise
I can answer any questions regarding Thyroid Trouble either Hypo or Hyper. I can also explain to you how this may have happened to you and more importantly how you can get well.

Experience
I have helped many women and some men with Thyroid Conditions. Most of them were able to get completely off of the harmful medications that weren't correcting the cause of their problem anyway. If all of these people were able to get well, then why not you too? I may be able to find you a qualified Upper Cervical Specific Doctor in your area to help locate and correct the cause.

Thyroid Problems - Excessive sweating

Expert: Robert Arnone, DC - 4/19/2009

Question
For many years I have suffered from excessive sweating mainly in my head area. I have spoken to various GPs re this and have had thyroid tests. All indicate that everything is fine.

I am overweight and, at the moment am trying to lose this weight. My wife and I have a good diet (we never eat fast food and have more than our fair share of vegetables and fruit). I am walking 30 minutes a day and have given up alcohol. After eight weeks my weight loss has been nil.

In speaking to a friend I discovered that they had had the same problem with no thyroid problem diagnosed. Eventually their GP treated them for thyroid problems, even though their tests had proved negative, and this resolved the problem and they started to lose weight.

Please advise.

Regards

Michael

Answer
Michael,
The thyroid does play a role in all of this, but that is just one gland and that does not control everything. If you are looking at what runs all organs and cells including your Thyroid, then you would want to have your brain stem evaluated.  Brain stem health is directly related to all vital function and all cellular function in your body.
You may or may not have a thyroid problem, but either way your thyroid is controlled by your brain stem.  You may or may not have a problem somewhere in the lymphatics, but either way your lymphatics are run by your brain stem.  See what I am getting at.
Also, the body will sweat to cool down when getting too hot or to eliminate toxins.
Yours in Best Health,
