Question I am really stressed right now. Four weeks ago, I was diagnosed with a thyroid nodule on my left side during a stroke prevention screening by my bank. I had to wait 2 weeks for the written results & picture to take to my doctor. Another week to schedule an ultrasound at the hospital. The technician found multiple nodules on the right and left sides last Wednesday. The largest being on the left. Now, I'm waiting on the doctor to tell me what to do next. What can I expect? I know a friend who has had 1 nodule removed but what happens when you have multiple nodules on both sides?

If this is not immediately life threatening then I highly suggest going a much more conservative route that has proven to be even more effective then the surgery. Let me know what you doctor is suggesting and also where you are located, I can recommend the care and a doctor hopefully in your area that can help you.
