I have helped many women and some men with Thyroid Conditions. Most of them were able to get completely off of the harmful medications that weren't correcting the cause of their problem anyway. If all of these people were able to get well, then why not you too? I may be able to find you a qualified Upper Cervical Specific Doctor in your area to help locate and correct the cause.

Thyroid Problems - Thyroid Ultrasound Results

Expert: Robert Arnone, DC - 4/10/2009

Question
I have had an enlarged thyroid for 8 years and am on Synthroid (TSH result is within range at the low end of range).  Recent ultrasound recommends a biopsy.  It states "a slightly echogenic mass present in left lobe in upper posterior aspect of gland measuring 1.7 x 1.1 x 1.1 cm. Left lobe is 5.6 x 2 x 2.2 cm.
Do you think a biopsy is warranted?  I am reading that biopsy results vary widely depending on skill of doctor.  Also understand procedure is painful.

Answer
Anne,
A biopsy is a way that they may be able to determine if there are cancerous cells involved.
Here is what is glaring out at me though, and it is not taking the biopsy that may be "off" or "painful".
It's the fact that you have been taking a poison for 8 Years to try and control your body from outside in and you are not getting better.
How is that healthcare?  It sounds to me more like sickcare.
You are actually getting worse because of the fact that you are not correcting the cause of your health problem and you are taking harmful medication.
You now have an enlarged thyroid, and so what do you think will be next?
More drugs?  More abnormal growth?  More decreased Thyroid function?  Thyroidectomy?
Those are basically your options with the path that you are going down right now.
This should be your major concern right now.
Are you getting healthier or sicker?
Are you heading up the road to health and wellness or down the road to suffering and death?
Health is by choice, not by chance.
Yours in Best Health,
Dr Robert Arnone
