Experience
I have helped many women and some men with Thyroid Conditions. Most of them were able to get completely off of the harmful medications that weren't correcting the cause of their problem anyway. If all of these people were able to get well, then why not you too? I may be able to find you a qualified Upper Cervical Specific Doctor in your area to help locate and correct the cause.

Question
hi i recently had a scan on my thyroid due to a slight lump on my neck. the sonographer wrote to my doctors and said there was no mass but a cyst of 3mm in size. on my other side of my thyroid there is a few nodules. the sonographer also put nothing specific with the cyst. my other gp however decided to send me to ent who now have decided to have another scan done with a fna. why have they decided to do this?

Answer
Heather,
They just want to check and be sure that it is not cancerous and possibly learn more about the cells that are involved.  It is a precautionary measure as part of what they do before any treatment which will consist of drugs, radiation, or surgery.  See what your doctor tells you about all of this and if you are completely satisfied with his answer and suggestions then go right ahead.  If you are not satisfied and would like a better answer or a different approach, then you can ask me another question.
Yours in Best Health,
Dr Robert Arnone
